the mother brought me for lunch buffet at Carousel. go here for 1-for-1 lunch buffets with your UOB credit card. this month only.

first plate of mango cheese cake, choco cake, raspberry cake, lemon slice, espresso tiramisu, green tea with red beans (i tink), and sth sth.
verdict: superb. all the other food was fab too.

then somewhere in the afternoon, as usual, fucking horlan on the way to the aunt's place.
i have covered both directions of PIE, bendemeer road, geylang bahru, upper serangoon, macpherson rd, aljunied rd, and finally reach jln mulia in half an hr. -_-
not a fun thing to do on a very hot saturday afternoon.
i don't know how popular the free car park at armenian street is. but i'm pretty pleased that parking was freeeeeee on a saturday in town.
passed by SMU and searched for this extremely touching picture i saw when linda brought me for a tour around SMU after lunch break. it's one of those that zaps u into an emo place after reading the captions:

"I don't know if she remembers me. She cannot have a proper conversation with me each time I visit her. We can only talk through our eye contact and the moment when i was holding her hands. Treasure the close ones around you, for you may not know if they will still be there the next time you close your eyes."the other thing that struck me was that the photographer loves her granma so much to visit her on the last day of the year, a day which i feel is pretty significant marking an end. the exhibition was "the last 24 hours of 2007".
moral of the story: our lives' pretty fucked!
