how anna used her S$20 1-piece note (the brunei-sg one)

scene: busy shenton way at lunch time after a temp job interview.
The Soup Spoon, packed and cramp, where we lay our scene.

Anna: hey let's go eat at soup spoon!
Jilun: ok!

Anna: i'm getting bla bla bla
Jilun: i'm getting bla bla bla. hey i only got 6 bucks, i tink you gotta pay for me first pls!
Anna: OMG i got only 6 bucks too!

*looks at soup and drinks already on the tray*
*looks over at cashier*

"CASH PAYMENT ONLY"

Jilun: OMG!
Anna: OMG!
Jilun: OMG!
Anna: OMG!
Jilun: How?!
Anna: How?!

*stones*

Anna: ask john come help us pay?
Jilun: huh then i walk back take money from him then walk back here?
Anna: eh nvm i think we just use the 20 bucks in my wallet la.

so ka-ching!
i THOT mum still had some more in the safe.
turns out we all had our own one piece and no more spare.
maybe i'll go beg the bank teller to give me one if they have any left.
