settled for chicken noodles and coconut =)
after lunch we jus walked and walked for bout 4 straight hours around the entire place.
didn't buy much really. boon got some t shirts and boxers. i got 7 pairs for earrings for about 5SGD. HEHE.
we made sure we checked out the entire pets section. they were OH SO CUTE! but by then i was too tired and lazy to take any more pictures and look like a moron who has never seen dogs cats hamsters rabbits before.
the hedge hogs were out of sight sadly.
some caucasian lady walked out crying.
we weren't sure if she was crying at the caged animals, or if she lost her wallet?

anyway all the walking and squeezing and heat got to us.
left for the hotel to shower b4 heading out again.
boon went for his favorite body scrub thai massage came back smelling like lavendar.
this was when i caught some drew barrymore movie on cable, really sweet.
and realised i had thrown in my luggage lock keys into the luggage, and locked the luggage in the morning.
hallelujah.
tried picking the lock b4 calling the recept to send someone up to cut open my lock.

of all pple, this happened to me!
on top of already breaking 3 earring on the same day -_-
argh

dinner was at SomBoon Seafood Restaurant, recommended by shawn too =)
by this time i was quite dulan with cab drivers who recommended places and tot we would change our destination for some stupid recommendation they made with their half fuck english.
dinner was good too =D hehe


we had oysters, pineapple rice, kangkong, thai style fish, and curry crab =)
the bill came up to be more than we estimated. sheesh.
that left us with very little money to shop at suan lum for the last night, after setting aside cab fare and breakfast money.

so we trotted around suan lum one last time and i didn't get anything =(
boonie was already feeling quite unwell so we headed back.
spent the last night catching Night Watch on cable.
altho we didn't head out to the clubs, it was a good night none the less. good food good movie on teevee and boonie and i were finally resting =)

The Last Day!

headed out to the shop next to the hotel for brekkie.

the airport had this display erected for the King, again. haha

after we passed the immigration counter, it was pretty impressive how the airport had displays in the middle of nowhere.
some display bout the gods and the devils at tug of war to create storms.
it's really late in the night now so i really can't be bothered to rmb what the story was.

it was a fantastic trip!
and the next time i go bkk, i'm jus gonna book a tic to fly there, and head to khao sarn and get any accomodation available.
the night was set aside for some tuts and studying, which ended up in this superbly loooooooong blog entry that took me more than 2 hours!
i'm glad i'm playing the "across the universe" OST =)

school started and the school blues kicked in.
first day of school was really short.
second day of school was a rush. lecture was a waste of time.
got super pang say and i was kinda dulan for a while.

dear frans, i am alrite if u wish to pang say me and meet another time. but pls don't inform me an hour b4 we meet and by sms which i can't read or reply when i am driving.
and i was especially annoyed because i had specially gone to get a dozen balloons b4 lecture, and spent the night b4 drawing and pasting on the bday card.

anyway, i stuck thru the horrid traffic jams jus to get from bugis to chomp chomp to get my favoritest porridge for last minute dinner with boon.
and also whacked 3/4 packet of carrot cake and a pack of tau huay.
no wonder i got out of bed with a bed tummy ache and lao sai half way thru breakfast.

the mummy was very nice to sit in the car with me as i travelled from thomson up to chongpang and down to upper east coast road to pass the surprise pressies to razi.
and the rain was so fucking heavy it was the worst rain i have ever driven in.

i tink i could probably get the award for most mileage on PIE in a day. (cab drivers not counted pls)

wednesday was good. =)
been a very very long time since gina shikai anna were in the same lecture together. can't even rmb the last time we did! like 3 yrs ago? hehe
i really really wanted to chat and chat in lecture but somehow i was kinda tired, so i mostly rested my head on my palm while the lecturer taught us about the history of singapore. -_-

and the whole night spent blogging.
i tink i'm gonna read my notes and tuts b4 sleeping.
