today, me myself and I made it a point to get up as late as possible =)
to conserve as much energy as i could for the overnight camping at ECP
which we planned over, i last checked, 52 emails sent back and forth. haha.
ok i didn't exactly send them, more like the other peeps cuz i was either busy studying for exams or having fun after it. =D
but eventually i did my part! called and sms everyone and monitored the weather and arranged all the last minute stuff ok. don't play play ah!
so we were royally an hour late, and it's not only me and boon but also the king lor!
and settled for some fine indian cuisine along boat quay which made me reminisce (dunno how the hell to spell this word) bout the india trip 2+ yrs back.
ah such sweet memories. and the food was gloriously yummy =)
but burnt a mini hole in our pockets la. oh wells i loved it anw!
the laughing matter was explaining to me the reason why we were bumming ard so aimlessly with no idea where to go.
well first fact, we were too full to stomach anything else or down any more drinks.
plus, we spent way too much brain cells planning the otherwise postponed/cancelled camping trip, that we have stopped tinking of wat to do when we were jus bumming ard.
and so the forgotten qn comes: is it cancelled or postponed? king A will be gone for the rest of the yr (lol means for 2 weeks but sounds like damn long rite!) and then sch will start not long after. how liddat?
ah so the first place we wasted time away was at Home at Riverwalk.
THE DRINK SUCKS SHIT.
i don't mind paying for a good drink, but seriously.
i paid good money for a small cup of wat tasted like pure fucking Milo with zero alcohol.
ok maybe a little, but REALLY LITTLE. like probably a drop.
now i think really really hard, and i can't think of anywhere on our little sunny island where decent drinks are served
not counting beers and wines which contain measured alcohol la
maybe except Morton's, some bars at sentosa, and the margs at cafe iguana
where else? ARGH
go HK got better drinks and NO tax!
got home like 4+ after our movie at cineleisure
and here i am, after a long wash up.
chatting with the King and my baby tan who won 8 bucks at his night time strategy class ard a 4-sided square table simulating dry-swimming motion all night
and i hear the morning birds chirping already.
damn i hate birds.
