i went into the exam hall for my accounting thinking that all 4 qns were equally weighed. so i was already panicking when i couldn't finish the first 20 MCQs on time.
then i flip flip and saw the last qn => 6 marks !!!
hehe this means i got more time to do the paper right? cuz apparently the diff qns have diff marks allocated to it. but read the qn: discuss the non-financial considerations a company should take into account when deciding whether to make or buy a product, assuming there is existing facility to produce the product.
WHAT!? i read my tuts b4 the paper and all i know were financial factors! and my brain was kinda stumped and didn't know how to smoke thru this one -_- thank goodness it's only 6 marks! lucky the rest i could do :D

first thing i heard this morning on radio was the biggest shootout in US' history: 33 killed 29 injured at virginia tech university. a result of 2 shootouts that were 2 hours apart, which posed the ultimate qn: why didn't the school immediately evacuate the school after the first shootout? the school thought the first incident was isolated. but they were so wrong. 2 pple were killed at 7.45a.m. 31 pple were killed at 9.45a.m.
last report on tv was that the gunmen was a chinese, shot himself after randomly shooting at an engineering lecture hall, i tink. first thing i felt was shock. and jus listened intently to the radio. didn't occur to me to feel sad actually.
the clips on news just now made more of an impact i guess. videos of pple running. and a whole group of students and family members singing hymns outside the school to pay their condolences to the dead.
maybe we'll find better days...
