" Dear Anna Lim,

Thank you very much! Your information is surely very helpful!

I think I'll join the mailing list after I'm actually in Singapore. BTW, I was in boys' schools both for primary and secondary school. As far as I can remember, it was boys' schools in my time that have stronger astronomy clubs, even in universities too.

Hence you happen to be the first lady President of an astronomy club I know! I guess NASA has done a lot to encourage women pursuing astronomy and space related careers. The retreat house of Hong Kong's Canossian Sisters also link to NASA :)-

Cheers

Is this Sexism? Or a compliment?

***

on another note,

discrimination of the gender/sex is => Sexism.

discrimination of the race is => Racism.

how bout discrimination against groups that do not end with "X" "C" or "S"???

how bout discrimination against the stupid pple? => stupid-ism. sounds wrong.
against short/tall pple? => height-ism. sounds wrong.
can't tink of anymore examples -_-

AND
in singapore and all other english speaking countries, we say "One, Two, Three!" then athletes start their race on "Three" and the gun shot.
in chinese countries it's "Yi, Er, San!"
how bout malay countries?

"Satu, Dua, Tiga!" the discrepency comes when some may actually start at the race on "Ti" while some starts at "Ga". how how how? liddat so unfair.

Anna wishes to lose some weight.
So she decided to eat less, save more money for hongkong.
do sit ups every morning and night.
of course she'll eat when need be, like bday dinner for rohan.
the problem is, anna is always hungry just before going to bed!
if she doesn't eat, she would => sometimes, possibly, have stomach ache after breakfast the next morning.
if she does eat, she would => have wasted the whole 20 mins spent brushing, flossing, gurgling her mouth. and possibly have the food stored in her body turned to fat.

this is utter rubbish. anna should just eat more for dinner to tahan her until bed time.
DUH.

A Kiss a day... Keeps the doctor away!

excerpts from Cleo Magazine:

It's scientifically proven! Makeout sessions have been shown to lower levels of IgE, an antibody responsible for sneezing and stuffy noses. Research from the University of Miami has also found that simply experiencing touch can lead to an increase in natural killer cell activity. Who knew something so enjoyable could be so good for you too?

Now we know! :D *wink wink*

just before dinner i went to the room and pulled out a random scarf thingy and tied it around my head.
it was in a bid to perfect my bandana tying skills before buying one in case i chuck it aside cuz i can't tie a bandana.
and also cuz i always want my hair out of the way when i'm home.
so there i was, with this black + shimmer bandana-looking thing on my head, eating spaghetti in front of the tv, and my dad came home.

he came in, locked the door, and walked in front of me.
gave me a stare, and shook his head with a couple of loud "tsk tsk".

my mum was laughing but i was like "WHAT! THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH WHAT I'M WEARING!".

argh.
what's wrong with wearing a bandana at home! -_-
