must have overslept like, 3-4 hrs? gosh. i was stunned when i opened my eyes and saw the time on my phone.
so had to chop chop NO MAKE UP [=(] rush to school for watever lesson that's left for me.
on my way to LT dropped by 7/11 (which is kinda pathetic in my opinion. wrong location wrong size)
got time out choco for jansen cuz i dunno y he looks kinda moody recently until he missed test this morning. i think chocos makes almost anyone feel better. unless u're not normal then i got no comments.
lecture was really short and ended not long after i reached. then watched DVD again. the break was pretty much wasted on chatting more than studying haha.
and jansen got me a BALLOON cuz some pple came in selling them for canvassing HAHA.

first i was like "don't want la! quite ex for balloon lei..." then half contemplating if i should get it for boon, the next thing i knew he was paying for it already and was like "aiya nevermind la! pay already quick choose." so took the one with the purple print. the rest were like pink that said "valentine's princess" ok maybe i'm spoilt or picky macham princess but it's really lame to carry a princess balloon ard. so ya. that's my really nice lab partner/ lecture buddy.
ok i sms boon on my way to school that i just missed a huge part of my morning class. and knowing boon boon who never skips class cuz smu is really strict bout attendance and class participation, he actually missed his morning class this morning. lol. i'm just really amused at stuff like that, u know? anw his prof is some ah tiong so he didn't really care. gina u should high 5 with him lei :p
and a lovely brownie from rachel dear. it was so yummy boon asked for another bite, even when he's coughing. thanks huns =)
you know how gina shikai and i always hang at canale when we feel like it? sometimes we walk in the italian restaurant just to cut across and get to canale without walking one big round. so i proposed we eat there and boon said okay!
but i was pretty much stunned at wat he got me, cuz boon has been really busy with projects and wat-nots really didn't expect anything. just a nice little dinner and some good time together. he got me a huge bouquet of flowers and a music box with a little bear sleeping in it.
turn the red knob and it plays the tune to beauty and the beast. it's the sweetest thing ever. decided to personalize it with a pic taken in India. =)
Mamma Lucia had vday set for couples, but it really wasn't any cheaper tho.
we had an antipasta: Carpaccio ai Funghi, beef carpaccio topped with mushroom, parsley, olive oil, garlic, lemon, and parmesan cheese. this was yummy.
Then a salad: Insalata di Tonno, tuna, cappers, potato, wild onion and tomato.
I had a Spaghetti alla Matriciana, spaghetti in traditional roman sauce with bacon, chilli,and tomato.
Boon had Fettuccine con Aragosia, fettucine with lobster.
One sparkling water, one earl grey tea, and a special vday fantasy dessert which was nothing more than just 2 slabs of choco ice cream with strawberry sauce and a slice of biscuit.

then these music playing pple approached us to sing sing and serenade us with love song haha. honestly i don't know wat song they were singing, but it must have been a popular love song cuz i knew every other songs they sang at the other tables. they were volunteers for the children association so all donations were gonna be channelled there, i tink.
this lady violin player is so cool right! i never see lady violin players in the flash b4. hehe. ok i thought the pic was taken already so i started chewing the food in my mouth. forgive the silliness.
the food was ma-ma-te. boon's lobster wasn't a lot, mine was nice la but a bit too much. we whacked them all anyways!
so that's our commercialised valentine's day. we loved it anyways, whether it was valentine's day or not :) in busy times like these, everytime we meet is like valentine's day haha. i'm not complaining, just appreciative :)
on another note, singapore just isn't that big, seriously. gina's good fran's new boyfriend happens to be joseph's (ex bf) best friend. all these while i've been listening to stories bout clara's (gina's good fran) life and stories, and all these while it's been someone i know. OH and clara's my primary one classmate. stunning no? :)
so long and goodnight. it was a good day. thursday will be good too :)
now i'm gonna spend 15 mins brushing and flossing my teeth. dun mind me.
