happy new year pull your ear.

some pple dun see a new year as a new year. maybe just another day.
but at least i know the new year is new for me. symbolically i guess.
and it was nothing much bringing in the new year.

just few hours before 2007, attended my dad's brother's wife's mum's wake. that is my paternal's cousin's maternal grandmother. oh whatever. and i was wearing the flowery green top that gina gave me for christmas and i thought i was sooo out of place. my dad insisted there was nothing wrong though.

technically (gosh) at the stroke of midnight that marks the year 2007, boon and i pretty much greeted each other happy new year and went to the tv to watch the talented mr ripley. and mr tom ripley was indeed talented. but in a scary way.

the highlight of my first few hours of 2007, other than chilling in front of the tv with boon, was the miraculous miracle when i was going home. there was not a single red light. there must be at least 15 traffic lights between yck and shunfu, and there was not a SINGLE red light on my way home. none. nil. zilch. isn't it such a miracle? i hope it's a sign that good things are coming my way this new year. then i got home and whacked cold crab legs at 3a.m in the morning that's leftover from dinner. waited up for my cousin to come home from the party at 5a.m. then we both went to bed at 6a.m after talking and talking and talking.

i pretty much spent my last two days with my cousin. everyone's at Genting now. so there's only me, my dad, and my cousin under the same roof the past two nights. shopping on sunday. shopping on monday. i bought her this top thingy that can be worn as a toga/tube/halter/skirt from far east, and a swatch watch from heeren for her 18th bday =) i feel so broke now need to claim money from my mum and i hope she's in a good mood when i ask! and we tried wasabi ice cream! gosh. one cup for the both of us, and we threw it away after finishing half the cup. you go try when u can. it's a once in a lifetime experience. and we decided to buy wasabi ice cream for pple we don't like :D

i should really go sleep and leave the bitchings till when i get the pics from cous.

so long and goodnight. so long and goodnight.

i love that "where'd you go" by holly valence and fort minor was tops in the perfect ten charts. but seriously, it's quite a sad song to top the nye chart isn't it?
