day of the not too common...

(haha. looks nice to have italic words.)

lunch was with boon boon at sushi tei. and we ordered a plate of UNI, that's seaweed wrapped sushi with seas urchin meat on top with a teeny slice of cucumber. how much? ten bucks. that's five bucks per sushi that goes in the mouth in one bite.

then there was astro challenge in the afternoon. first time someone speaking so fast i can't catch. main point is that the discussions were going, assuming everyone had detailed idea of wat astrochallenge is about. excuse me, i no idea bout the details, only know that it's special major event for sec schools and tertiary institutes to compete in astro knowledge. i'm always scared i talk too fast during meetings cuz i want efficiency. then comes this girl who shoots off and meeting ended in an hour. HAH.

shikai and i queued TWO AND HALF HOURS for donuts from donuts factory. gina came to join us mid way and stood there with us for an hour. it's not that we wanted to queue for two hours, but we didn't know it would take THAT long! after an hour of queuing and we realised we were only half way thru the queue. and since we've already queued an hour, it's such a waste to leave. shikai was so uber nice to offer help the auntie in front of us to queue, and asked the auntie to go and rest, then come back later we'll let her have the same spot =) apparently the auntie in front of us wanted to get donuts for her grandchildren, all kids bout 2-3 yrs old. isn't that the sweetest! and the auntie bought soya bean for shikai cuz kai was the sweetest thing too! =)

but didn't get to eat the donuts when i got home cuz we went canale after donuts queuing and i'm so full from cake, quiche and soup, on top of a lot of sushi and sashimi for lunch. i'll eat my donuts tmr!

so we walked up and down the river side at robertson quay.
looked up at service apartments and talked bout how we'd all have nice houses in future and we can jus hang ard and chill at each other's house.
then we started freaking out bout graduating!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh my goodness we don't wanna graduate and move on to the next phase of life.
it's too scary.
and we don't wanna settle for normal.
we all wanna make sth out of our lives and not regret not trying when we're older.
and we just talked and talked and i dun really wanna think bout graduation it's depressing...
i got so emo when i watched laguna beach, the epi all seniors were graduating and moving off to college. i had to change the channel before i got worse.

if only love and joy could keep us alive
but life's never a bed of roses
let's deal with all the shit that comes along the way
and appreciate it when we have pple to have sushi and cakes with =)
