many loves to gina gan and toh shikai...
sometime ago, on a certain date of 12th August 2006, gina and shikai had planned a really special day for anna to celebrate her 21st bday =) anna was away in california on her exact birthdate. but alas! anna was informed of the (dumbass useless) pageant only a week before, and it happened to be the same day as the surprise bday celebrations!
but all was ok at the end of the day. =)
gina went over to that place at fort canning to pick anna up for the surprise. anna had no idea where they were heading to! so we were whisked off in the cab, as it headed down to where else... Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel!
My 21st birthday surprise was this key to our very own hotel room with a view!
so after i got in, there was this like whole ceremony thing to go through. haha.
i had to stand below the balloons while miss toh burst them and confetti fell while i was trying very hard not to scream.
the bedside tables had candles arranged in my name, with rose petals everywhere. isn't this the sweetest thing =)
and a birthday banner with balloons deco too =)
and then the birthday girl had to burst a balloon too cuz there was sth inside.
a little hershey kisses choco! i tink it's suppose to mean their kiss for me. hee
gina knows that i like picnics, but i'm a princess so i can't sweat. haha. so they were so sweet... we had picnic in a hotel room on the comfy bed!
there were so much stuff i think we couldn't finish them la!
there was potato salad and pizza and chicken wings and bread and the special fruity cocktail made with love from gina and shikai. and then i was just sitting and eating and watching them fuss over the cocktails and all the food and wine and serving me, i must have been such a pig! hehe
and then there was CAKE!
i have a very serious weakness for cakes...
and they actually confessed to me that they were so busy they didn't have time to look for a proper cake! lol.
anyway, the last minute cake they bought was so uber yummy!
HELLO WHO CAN RESIST CHOCOLATE CAKE RITE!
and oh my gosh I LOVE LILIES. they were still buds but they were so beautiful. and they bloomed so beautifully when i brought them home and changed and watered them everyday =)

we were just having a blast...
and then shikai and gina had to do some sexy mama pose =)
somewhere in the middle of our picnic, the firworks started.
ooh imagine the luxury, with chicken wings in our hands, in an air conditioned hotel room and a great view of the fireworks with your two best friends.
haha no one can beat this bday surprise =)
and as most zouk fans might have figured: Grand Copthorne Waterfront is like the hotel where Zouk is! but the winebar was so super packed, and we didn't wanna pay to get in cuz we didn't wanna stay out too long...
so we thought, why not walk over to Brewerkz! so we walked, and walked, and.... we realised we just walked one round around zouk for 5 mins.
"eh? how come we're at the entrance of zouk again?"
HAHA. then take cab to brewerkz la!
i think i had Kamikaze. Shikai had this sweet milky thing with a coffee bean on the top, something like "nipple on top" or sth. HEHE
and a couple of mugs. hello the sexy couple. haha
oh my gosh. this is the first pic that i look happy without smiling. (most times if i dun smile i look dulan. haha) and i like this pic with shikai =)
i got myself a Guess wallet when in US cuz the factory outlets were cheep cheep. lo and behold! gina got a Guess wallet the same time as me too in spore! i've lost count of the number of times we always do/think/say the same stuff. lol
i do not know why we have the drinks menu across our chest...

after that we headed back to the room, and we slept like dead logs. it was a good sleep indeed.
then after check out, we left our bags at the concierge so we could walk over to Great World City for lunch and shopping...
but i had to leave early to go grandma's house.
it was a blast! thank you shikai and gina darls whom i love so much =) muackz
