i slept a straight 8 hours last night, and the first thing i woke up to this morning was the excruciating pain from the throat to both my ears when i swallowed my saliva. i had no idea sore throat could be so achy -_-
so i guess this was a sign that i had to see the doc, after being sick since last sunday.
and oh my gosh. i didn't feel sick, really! but apparently i had a slight fever when the doc took my temp. sometimes i tink i'm not sensitive to fever to even realise that i'm not feeling well. the past few times i had fever over the past year, i tot it was just headache. i still drove to school and spent the day out until i realised that i was strangely and extremely cold everywhere i was. then i was confirmed having fever when i took my temp when i got home.
mummy is always worried when i have fever and when i dun realise i'm actually having a fever. she's very scared the fever will burn my brains. at first i thought i would need a really high fever to burn my brains. but i tink i'm too influenced that i'm starting to worry too.
and the doc prescribed me like 5 medicines. i think i must have been quite sick for the past week. and i can still happily go out and jalan and have fun everyday. good point: i'm not one of those who stay in bed the whole day just cuz of a slight flu. bad point: i would most likely not realise that my brain is being fried until i see smoke. in other words, i need someone to tell me i'm sick.
moxipen - antibiotics for my very sore throat
dhasolone - to clear the phlegm
became - to clear the blocked nose
mac extra lozenges - for the sore throat
dhasedyl - for the persistent cough
normal paracetemol/panadol - doc adviced to be taken when i have headache and fever and when the throat's too pain
but i must say, the antibiotics works wonders. just after my first two pills, the sore throat was gone. throat and ears dun hurt anymore. but maybe it's the placebo effect. the effect that makes me better just by thinking that i'm getting better. hmmmm.....
doc told me to rest, so i had to call gina and tell her that i couldn't meet her for the Lime bazaar. we met later in the afternoon for the Rapunsale bazaar instead, organized by Loof. but that too was non-existent. apparently Seventeen magazine made a printing mistake. the bazaar was actually next week, but it was printed this week. CHEE.
so we decided to walk around Chijmes since we've already met wat. and that place seriously has quite a number of eating places. it's like, if you've got money and not yet made any reservations for dinner, i tink can go Chijmes. so many restaurants there'll sure be one with seats. this is if u're loaded.
and if rachel is reading this, i tink the jap restaurant at Chijmes is the one we ate in LA for your bday! looks really alike, and the price of the food almost the same: expensive. there's another outlet at UE Square. It's called Gyu Kuyu, or sth haha don't rmb. if the soya sauce u guys bought was really good for cooking, maybe can go back there and buy =)
alright the sick but recovering anna needs her beauty sleep to chop chop recover. then i can finally whack all the crabs and seafood in JB!
whoot.
