that my darling boon boon brought a whole bunch of orange and silver balloons to me on sat
when i told him that the doc said i was sick sick sick
imagine this big strappy man-looking fella
with a bunch of 35 floating balloons
driving down the highway to my house
with his rear view totally blocked
haha
and i was like "WHAT! WOW!" when i saw him at the door
actually they were left over balloons from InnovateIt that he organized that same day
but still! he was tired and tired and still drove over it was awesome!
i've always adored balloons!

i think the balloons must have made me recover so much faster, on top of the medication

and i need to complain how much i hate my carelessness. i am always bloody sending out the publicity emails for astro events with my own email account, when it should have been sent out with the club's email account. but i just HAD to make that bloody mistake. i hate it when i send it out with my own account to all the members, and only realise it like 5 minutes later! it's so unprofessional, and it's not the first time i've made this dumb ass mistake. argh. kill me. give me more professional-ism.

Geminids Meteor Shower
The Geminids are a meteor shower caused by an object named 3200 Phaethon, which is thought to be an extinct comet. The meteors from this shower can be seen in mid-December and usually peak around 12-14 of the month. The Geminid shower is thought to be intensifying every year and recent showers have seen 120-160 meteors per hour under optimal conditions. The Geminids were first observed only 150 years ago, much more recently than other showers such as the Perseids and Leonids.
DATE: 15th December 2006 (Friday)
TIME: 8pm till late
VENUE: Courts next to Sports & Recreation Centre (SRC)
ITEMS TO BRING ALONG: Insect repellent, water bottle, umbrella, some spare cash and other necessary items
