The Fall.

yes i fell. not flat on face, but. kana sai. it's the first time i fall crossing a traffic light. and it had to be in a foreign country. thank goodness i had my sunglasses on to save some embarrassment. here's what happened:

like any normal person along the streets, i was walking. stopped at the traffic when red light. then started walking again when the light turned to a walking white man. (it's white man here in the foreign land) lucky got sunglasses.

and then, like pigeon shit out of no where (i didn't get pigeon shit), a bloody slab of cement came out of no where, and i tripped on it. well, first i thought i might have gained back balance, but nooooooooooooo.............. lucky got sunglasses.

just when i thought i was gaining my balance back, i found myself heading for the ground the next moment. naturally, i jus stretched out my palm to cushion the fall. main point: face CANNOT hit ground. AHH! lucky got sunglasses.

finally flat on the floor. let out a scream. AHH! thought running thru mind: is my ass crack showing? i can't get up cuz my palms are pain! will my ass crack show if i stood up myself? someone pls help me! who's watching? is someone laughing? IS THE CAR GONNA RUN OVER ME?!
*note: car at corner of pic. the driver was waiting for everyone to cross over before he made his turn. well according to can't-rmb-who told me, he was laughing! hmph. jackass!

thank you vince gor gor and junliang gor gor for pulling me up. thanks baby for laughing with me. *muackz* thanks rach for being nice everytime vince says "eh dun fall again hor. haha"

seriously, i don't even feel embarrassed. i picture myself falling, and if i were someone looking at me, i'd laugh too! damn there was not enough time to take a pic. haha. funny funny. doesn't matter, i tink it's funny too :D

disclaimer: anna is not as skinny as the lines in the pictures. lines were used for convenience.

out-of-point complain:
in this liberal country i'm in, i cannot believe the legal age for drinking is 21! and i'm jus bloody one month away from legal drinking age in this "liberal" country.

san diego, mexican lunch:

left to right: anna with a camera (not drawn), taking pic for the "legal adults" who can drink, sitting at one corner appreciating her fruit juice; the sad line of truth that separates the "kid" from the "adults"; the bloody huge and damn nice margarita which anna could not drink openly (but sipped secretly when the waiter, who checked my passport for age, was looking away); the "legal adults" drinking.

cheers.
