ok i know this is a bit late la... but Happy Birthday Howie Mummy! miss chan yi hou turned 21 yrs of age on the 10th of Jan 2006. so we had a lovely (and high) time the day before =)
we met at clark quay mrt station, and proceeded down to clark quay. told her to choose a place to eat, my treat la. so we ended up at Riverside Indonesian Restaurant! gina kept saying the food not nice lei.. but i tink cuz we ordered the more ex one, it was damn good la! hee.

we just whacked the whole thing, together with otah (which were atrociously expensive at 6.80 for 2 bloody sticks, and they suck man.) and we still couldn't finish everything! (look above.) oh well, the food was nice, i wished i'd worn sth looser so can eat more =D
then i was like, "if you want can open the present lor." hee. and so she opened it with much reluctance cuz the wrapping was so pretty (of course not i wrap one la)... then she just screamed out loud! lol. wat else to expect from dear howie rite =D
it was the whole set of chronicles of narnia which i guess she wanted, guessing from her blog. haha. check out the grin man!

then our plan was to head down to SMU, join boonie to go check out the SMU pub, Timbre, where his fran was gonna play in the band that night.
so we walked to bus stop... and walked... and stopped when we saw the rickshaw (or issit trishaw) uncle.
"uncle how much to ride to SMU, the school with the glass windows one?"
"u singaporean, ten dollars la."
(the above two lines were conversed in mandarin.)
"eh anna, not cheap lei. let's go la." "
so we walked and walked...
"eh but tink bout it, 21st birthday take rickshaw (or trishaw), how cool is that?!"
"aiya, ok la! i want!"
so we walked back again... hee.
check out the nice cool evening from the rickshaw's (or trishaw) view.. so pretty!

ok it was a camera phone, and the hand can't be any more steady. but it was still pretty! howie took these with her hp camera la. some pple waved at us, we waved back. we started spouting every possible japanese word we know, in an attempt to look and sound like japanese tourists. we were so giggly and happy, i swear i have never been so high before, not even from drinking liquor and stuff. ooh happy happy...

no, these are not pictures of ghosts. no, we are not the ghosts of trishaws or town or anything. the one on the left is me, in case anyone's blind enough not to know that. -_- well, i pulled my fringe back cuz it was so bloody irritating me. the rickshaw was shaky, so of course, this was the best pics we could get =) as can be seen, we were high. i hardly have genuine smiles in pics. the ones above are genuine, and genuinely high =D
gosh, we were kinda heavy, such that the uncle had to push the richshaw when we were at a slight slope! and i mean slight, like u can't tell it's a slope until the uncle got down to push =D
then we went on ahead to Timbre with Boon la. the place MIGHT have been good if 1) we actually had chairs to sit. 2) more fans, or air con. 3) bigger space. 4) allowed us to sit on the table (damn it!) 5) the pple there weren't so fake and artificial. 6) they let the band play earlier, so we could go home earlier too. but the drinks were nice la.
so long, farewell, it's time to say goodnight... goodnight....
(5hours after the above was blogged) i came back to add this part in. insects have no f**king brains. bloody stupid. they can't think for themselves, much less think for me. in less than a span of 3 hours, two f**king huge beetles have lended on my table. oh for goodness sake. why is it always ME?!!! i have not once heard my room mate squeal or jump at any beetle or insects landing on her table.
Everyone pls sing along: "I Hate School And I Hate Hostel."
