Absolutely Guilty.

ok i just typed the whole bloody post which got deleted cuz this stupid computer hung.

Anyways, i was absolutely guilty of being 'The Singaporean' who didn't have sense enough to give up her seat to someone more in need.

On the train just tonight, a certain old man boarded the train and stood in front of me. He seemed pretty healthy and strong to me though. But obviously my judgement was wrong. The man sitting just NEXT to me gave his seat up for the old man. It was bad enough being the youngest in that area who SHOULD have given up her seat, and it felt WORSE to have the man NEXT to me give his seat up. gosh, so i survived the whole train ride in humiliation, with my head down and a glum face.

Honestly, i may sound like i'm defending myself, but i did consider giving up my seat. what stopped me was that, if i were in the old man's shoes and had someone give her seat up for me, it would have been insulting cuz i would have seemed too weak to stand. ok, i may be half defending myself, but that was seriously what went through my mind.

But i'm still guilty! it's been a long time since i felt totally embarrassed. so paisay, that i wished so hard for a hole on the ground for me to hide in. guilty guilty guilty.

and the OTHER dilemma. my room-mate, whom i hardly speak to, sent me 2 sms to let me know that her boyfriend spilt milo on my table, which some of it went on to my blanket. and she mentioned that she's very sorry n hope that i'm not angry. i don't know what to do! i can't be pissed cuz she was polite enough to inform me bout it. but then again, i've lived in the hostel for a year plus, and nothing of this sort has ever happened. i can't believe how careless anyone can be. but she did clean it up for me, and it'd better not be on my (super expensive) pillow, or my eyes would flip. conclusion: i can't be pissed! i'll jus reply her tmr and say it's alright. what's done is done. no point being pissed. it wouldn't make my blanket any cleaner.

i'm so broke! can someone pls rain money on me???
